Spicy Bean Paté

Ingredients:
  • 1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas, drained
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne powder
  • fresh parsley, small red pepper for garnish

Preparation:

Blend together all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pour mixture into a small bowl, cover and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours. Garnish with parsley and red pepper.

Servings: 2 cups. Serves 16
