Cocktail Meatballs

Ingredients:
  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 oz. bottle chili sauce
  • 10 oz. grape jelly
  • 1/4 cup shortening for browning

Preparation:

Cook jelly and chili sauce together. Combine beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, parsley, salt and pepper and worcestershire sauce in a bowel. Form 1 inch meatballs and brown in shortening. Put browned meatballs into jelly and chili sauce mixture. Simmer, uncovered for 30 min.
