Fried Chicken Balls

Ingredients:
  • 1 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 large onion, chopped fine
  • 1 hot green chili, finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro leaves (also known as coriander)
  • All-purpose flour
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Plum sauce OR Hoisin sauce for dipping

Preparation:

If available, use a food processor to finely mince the chicken breasts (or finely mince by hand). Add the prepared vegetables to the minced chicken, mixing well.

Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in flour to coat. Heat 1/4-inch oil in a large frying pan and fry balls until golden. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with Plum sauce or Hoisin sauce.
