Beef Brisket

Ingredients:
  • 1 (3-4 lbs) brisket
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 (8 oz) can stewed tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation:

Heat oven to 350° F.

Put onion on bottom of covered roaster. Season meat with salt and pepper. Sprinkle onion soup and stewed tomatoes on meat. Add water. Cover and bake for 3 hours. Remove meat and pour gravy into food processor. Slice thin and pour gravy over meat. Reheats well.
