Cranberry Onion Brisket

Ingredients:
  • 1 (10 lbs) brisket, trimmed
  • 2 cans whole cranberries
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix

Preparation:

Rub onion soup mix thoroughly onto both sides of brisket. Spread cranberries making sure to saturate both sides. Cover pan; marinate overnight in refrigerator.

Remove pan from refrigerator. Do not remove cover. Bake at 325° F for 3 1/2 hours; remove cover. Bake 30 minutes longer. Remove excess fluids as necessary.
