Holiday Brisket

Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 lbs) brisket-flat cut
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1/2 jar water

Preparation:

Place brisket in a 9x13-inch Pyrex dish with fat side up. In medium bowl, combine apricot preserves and onion soup mix; spread over meaTbsp Pour water over and seal with foil. Cook 30 minutes per lbs at 350° F. Let meat cool before slicing (slice against the grain for more tender meat).
