London Brisket

Ingredients:
  • 4 lbs beef brisket
  • 3 lrg onions, sliced thick
  • 1 whole clove in each slice of onion
  • 2 green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 peeled carrot
  • Parsley

Preparation:

Place all ingredients in a large pot Cover with cold water. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove foam that rises to the top.

Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or until tender. Remove meat and scrape off faTbsp Slice meat in 1/4 inch slices. Top with sauce and bake in 350° F oven for 30 minutes.
