Tweaked Up Cheeseburgers

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp dill pickle relish
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 hamburger buns, split
  • 1 large tomato, cut in thin slices
  • thin sliced onions
  • 6 slices Cheddar cheese

Preparation:

To make sauce: stir together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup chili sauce and 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish. Gently mix hamburger with Worcestershire, salt and pepper; shape into six 1 inch thick burgers. Heat hamburger buns on a grill or in oven. Spread 1 tablespoon sauce on buns, top with tomatos and onions.

Grill or pan fry burgers, turning once, and cook till no longer pink. Top with cheese; cover and continue cooking until cheese is melted. Add burgers to buns and serve.
