Marinated Steak

Ingredients:
  • 2 rib eyes (1 thick, about 12 oz. each)
  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Preparation:

Place bouillon cubes in hot water to dissolve. Add onion powder, vinegar, oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika and pepper. Mix well. Pierce steaks on both sides and place in gallon size one zip bag along with marinade. Turn to coat both sides and refrigerate overnight Turn bag occasionally. Grill, brushing with marinade during cooking.

This makes a great dipping sauce. Reserve 1/4 cup sauce before putting in bag with steak. Serve as you would any steak sauce. You will never go back to bottled sauce!
