Baking Powder Bread

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups fine whole wheat
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation:

Sift together, twice, the dry ingredients; place in a large bowl and mix in the milk. When smooth, turn into a greased pan. Cover with another pan, inverted, and let stand 5-10 minutes. Bake about 45 minutes at 375° F.
