Ambrosia Cake

Ingredients:
  • 1 (10-inch) sponge or angel food cake
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 (11 oz) can mandarin orange sections, drained

Preparation:

Evenly cut cake into 3 horizontal layers.

Stir together sour cream, crushed pineapple and brown sugar. Place a layer of cake on serving planner. Top with 1/3 of the pineapple mixture. Repeat 2 more times. Arrange mandarin orange sections over top. Chill well.

This cake must be kept refrigerated.
