Cheerios Candy

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 1/2 cups Cheerios

Preparation:

In large skillet, heat the sugar and butter to boiling. Stirring constantly, boil over medium heat, until mixture becomes light brown and thickened, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the Cheerios until well coated.

Turn onto ungreased cookie sheet and spread mixture 1/4-inch thick. Cool and break into pieces.
