Baked Bean Casserole

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 lbs bacon, cut up in small pieces
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2 - 14 oz. cans pork and beans
  • 1 - 1lb. can stewed tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • dash celery salt

Preparation:

Cook bacon until crisp. Drain. Add ground beef and onions and cook until browned, adding or draining more fat as needed. Combine with remaining ingredients including bacon.

Spoon mixture into 2 - 1 1/2 quart casserole dishes. Bake at 300° F for 2 hours.

Servings: 4 to 6
