Chili

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • cayenne pepper, optional

Preparation:

Salt pan and brown the ground beef. Add celery, onion, green pepper and a little water and steam until vegetables are tender. Add chili powder, and tomatoes. Cook for 1 hour, add kidney beans, and let simmer for 3 more hours. Add cayenne pepper, if desired, to taste.
