Chili

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 or 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 - 28 oz. can tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cummin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 4 - 15 oz. each cans of red beans or pinto beans

Preparation:

Brown meat with onions and green pepper.

Add the two cans of tomatoes, garlic and seasonings.

Simmer covered for one hour. Add the 4 cans of beans and continue to simmer an additional hour.
