Cheesy Ham and Corn Chowder

Ingredients:
  • 3-4 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cans cream style corn
  • 1/2 lbs lean cooked ham, cubed
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/2 - 3/4 lbs Velveeta cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste (with ham, salt is not usually needed)
  • 2 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Preparation:

Cube potatoes. Dice onion. Boil together until done. Drain. Add corn, ham, milk, cheese, salt, pepper and parsley. Heat slowly until cheese is melted and soup is hoTbsp DO NOT BOIL.

,p>May be served immediately or cooled and reheated slowly (Sitting makes flavor better.) *As with any homemade soup, these quantities may be adjusted according to taste or amount of soup desired.
