Corn Chowder #3

Ingredients:
  • 2 cup diced potatoes
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 can cream-style corn (or freezer corn)
  • 1 to 2 cup ham, cut in chunks
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese

Preparation:

Put potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper in kettle and cover with water. Cook 10 minutes or until done. (Do not drain.) Prepare white sauce using butter and milk and flour. Stir the cheese into white sauce last, until it melts. Put white sauce in the kettle with the cooked vegetables. Add corn and ham. Warm thoroughly. Serve.
