Drunken Chuck

Ingredients:
  • 1 (5 to 6 lbs) chuck roast
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans French onion soup
  • 1-1/2 (12 oz.) cans beer
  • 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes

Preparation:

Bake roast at 400° F for one hour. Move roast to a large crock pot. Add remaining ingredients. Stir, and cook on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours or on LOW overnight, or until tender.
