One Crust Oil Pastry & Fresh Fruit Pie

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 Tbsp cold milk

Preparation:

Mix flour, sugar, and salt in pie pan, making a small well. Blend oil and milk. Pour into flour mixture, mixing well. Press with palm of hand to line the bottom and sides.

Prick dough before baking if for cream type or glazed fresh fruit filling. Bake 450° about 10 minutes.This is a flaky crust and does not soak up creamy fillings.
