Black-Eyed Peas the New Way

Ingredients:
  • 2 cup Black eyed peas
  • 6 cup Water
  • 2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Yellow onion
  • 1 Red pepper
  • Salt; to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

Preparation:

Bring peas to a very low boil. Add all ingredients and cook for 1 hour. Salt and pepper to taste.
