Borsata Wine Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Riesling wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp flour

Preparation:

Beat eggs well; add sugar and flour. Mix wine and water and bring to boiling. Pour over egg mixture, then blend with electric mixer.

Bring mixture to boiling point, lower heat and cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Serve warm over fruitcake.
