Pickled Beans

Ingredients:
  • 1 gal. cold water
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup salt
  • beans

Preparation:

Cook beans as for canning or until just tender, not soft Cool, pack in clean jars, fill with vinegar solution. Seal. Also pickled corn and kraut made same way. Your kraut will stay white and pretty in this solution.
