Fried Cabbage And Noodles

Ingredients:
  • 1 sm head of cabbage, chopped fine
  • 1 pkgs. wide egg noodles, or bow tie noodles
  • bacon grease or oil
  • 1 sm onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Preparation:

Heat oil in a large skillet.

Fry cabbage until brown.

Only fry enough cabbage to cover the bottom of the skillet at one time.

Add more oil to continue frying.

Boil noodles in salted water until tender.

Drain. Add onion to cabbage and combine with noodles. Can be served as a main or side dish.
