Stuffed Cabbage Recipe #1

Ingredients:
  • head of cabbage
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground pork
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef chuck
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 onions, grated
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • salt & pepper

Preparation:

Boil cabbage and separate leaves (cut vein even with leaf). Mix pork, beef chuck, eggs, onions, rice, milk and salt and pepper. Fold edges of cabbage around ball of meat mixture and roll.

Secure with toothpicks. Mix sauce ingredients; bring to boil and simmer; put stuffed cabbage in sauce. Simmer till done. Serve.
