Amaretto Carrots

Ingredients:
  • 1 lbs fresh carrots
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup amaretto or 2 tsp amaretto extract
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Slice carrots 1/8-inch thick. Chop almonds. Sauté carrots in butter until lightly cooked. Add almonds and amaretto. Heat and season with salt and pepper.
