Glazed Carrots Recipe #1

Ingredients:
  • 1 medium bunch carrots, peeled
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp fresh orange juice

Preparation:

Slice carrots diagonally. Steam slightly or until tender but firm. Sauté in margarine; add brown sugar, nutmeg and orange juice.

Cook and stir until brown sugar melts and carrots are glazed. Serve immediately.
