Glazed Julienne of Carrots, Turnips & Rutabagas

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 lbs Carrots; julienned
  • 3/4 lbs Turnip; julienned
  • 1/2 lbs Rutabaga; julienned
  • 2 cup Water
Sauce Ingredients:
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Water
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper

Preparation:

Bring vegetables and water to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 10-12 minutes until crisp-tender; drain.

Combine sauce ingredients; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Toss gently with vegetables, serve immediately.
