Apple Pecan Bread

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans image placeholder

Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease loaf pan. In a large bowl, cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder and stir until just blended. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake about 1 hour. Remove from pan and cool on rack. Then wrap and let stand overnight before slicing.
