Four Bean Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans pork & beans, drained
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1 can butter beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tsp dry mustard

Preparation:

Brown the bacon, drain and break into fragments. Sauté the onion in the bacon drippings. Add the sugar and brown.

In a 4 qt. casserole, combine the beans, mustard, salt, pepper, tomato paste and bacon. Mix well, add the onions and bacon drippings. Bake at 350° F for one hour, covered.
