Esther Chan's Chinese Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 lbs whole chicken
  • salt/chinese spice(5-spice)
  • green onion
  • ginger(few slices)
  • garlic
  • soy sauce
  • sesame oil

Preparation:

Dry the chicken. Stuff the abdomen of the chicken with the ingredients in the left hand column. Pour the soy sauce and sesame oil over the chicken. Place back side up in a covered corning wear dish in the microwave on high for 15 min. Turn chicken over, cut skin over thighs.

Cook in this position for 15 min. You make cooked rice to go with the chicken and have a yummy dinner in 30 min.!
