Coconut Pecan Brown Sugar Frosting
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preheat broiler. In medium bowl stir pecans, coconut, brown sugar, cream, vanilla and salt together.
Spread frosting evenly on cake, and place and broil 6 inches from heat sour 2 -3 minutes; just until it bubbles and tips of coconut brown slightly.
Remove to wire rack and cool till ready to serve.Servings:
