Caramel Butter Frosting

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 3-1/4 cup Powdered sugar; about

Preparation:

Melt 1/2 cup butter; add 1 cup brown sugar. Bring to a boil; stir 1 minute or until slightly thick. Cool slightly. Add 1/4 cup milk; beat smooth. Beat in about 3 1/4 cup powdered sugar until of spreading consistency.

Servings: Two 8-inch layers
