Army Apple Muffins

  • 2 cup flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
  • 1 cup chopped apples or rhubarb image placeholder

Mix together egg, milk, and butter or margarine. Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt and add to mixture. Stir in apples or rhubarb. Fill greased or papered muffin tin about half way for each cup. Add crunch on top of muffin dough. Bake at 350° F or 15-20 minutes.
