Cottage Cheese and Oil Pastry

  • 4-1/2 oz. (125g) cottage cheese (well pressed out)
  • 4 Tbsp Milk
  • Egg yolk
  • 1/2 Egg white
  • 4 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 9 oz. plain flour
  • 1 pk Backin image placeholder

rub the cottage cheese through a fine sieve, if desired and mix with the milk, egg yolk, and 1/2 egg white, oil and salt.

Mix and sieve together the flour and the Backin and add to the mixed ingredients, a little at a time, until slightly more than half has been used.

Knead in the rest of the flour.
