Black-Eyed Peas Recipe #7

  • 2 cup Black-eyed peas
  • 6 cup Water
  • 1 Stick butter
  • 1 Ham hock/fat back
  • Salt and pepper to taste image placeholder

Soak peas overnight, drain, rinse well and pick over. Bring peas to a very low boil. Add butter, ham hock or fat back. Cook for 1 hour. Salt and pepper to taste.
