Judy Austin's Black-Eyed Peas

Ingredients:

  • 32 oz. Canned black-eyed peas
  • 3-1/2 oz. Packaged sliced pepperoni,diced
  • 1 md Green pepper, diced
  • 1 md Onion, diced
  • 1/4 tsp Hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Hot taco sauce

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven over low heat. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

I did find this in Southern Living, so I hope it doesn't offend traditionalists.
