Apple Pie Filling

  • 4 cups apples/peeled, cored, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • sprinkle of cinnamon or 1/4 cup cinnamon candy
  • dabs of butter image placeholder

Mix together apples, sugar and cinnamon.

Let set while make pie shell.

Put in shell and add dabs of butter; cover with pie dough; cut slits in top and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 450° F for 15 minutes then 45 minutes at 375° F.

Servings: one 9 inch pie
