Chicken Pot Pie

  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped
  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 3 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cup chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 1 - 10 oz. pkg. mixed vegetables, cooked and drained
  • 1 pkg. of two refrigerated pie crustsp image placeholder

Cook onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour and salt. Add broth all at once. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add remaining ingredients and cook until thickened.

Pour chicken mixture into 9-inch prepared pie crust. Top with second crust. Make slits for steam to escape. Bake at 450° F or approximately 15 minutes.
