Baked Turkey Loaf

  • 1-1/2 lbs Ground turkey
  • 1/2 md Onion; finely chopped
  • Celery stalk; finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley; minced
  • 1 Tbsp Bell pepper; finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Whole-wheat bread crumbs toasted
  • 1/4 cup Skim milk; or chicken stock
  • Egg white; slightly beaten
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper; freshly ground
  • 1/4 tsp Dried oregano; crushed
  • 1/4 Tbsp Garlic; crushed image placeholder

Mix all ingredients until just blended. Do not overmix. Press the mixture into a 4 x 9-inch nonstick loaf pan. Bake at 325F for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve hot with Mushroom Glaze (see recipe same name) or serve cold.
