Sprinkle pecans in a shallow pan. Bake at 300° stirring often until pecans begin to turn color. Combine softened cream cheese and mayonnaise; mix well. Crumble bacon. Add bacon, onion, dill weed and pepper and mix well. Cover and chill overnight. Form cheese mixture into a ball and roll the ball, until completely covered, in the pecans. Serve on garnished tray with crackers.
