Porcupine Meatballs

Ingredients:
  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 lbs ground pork
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced fine
  • 1/2 onion, diced fine
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 2 slices bread soaked in milk and mashed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2 cans water

Preparation:

Mix together beef, pork, green pepper, onion, rice, bread, egg, salt and pepper. Form into balls. Place in baking dish or roaster. Pour soup and 2 cans water over meatballs. Bake at 325° F for 2 hours.
