Barbecued Ribs

Ingredients:
  • 3 or 4 lbs spare ribs, fat removed
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1 can beer
  • 2 cup brown sugar

Preparation:

Put ribs in a roasting pan with cover. Bake at 275° for 2 hours, turning after 1 hour. Pour off fat. Return ribs to roasting pan. Mix catsup, beer and brown sugar together in a bowl. Pour over ribs. Return ribs to oven at 325° for 1 hour or more. The longer it bakes, the thicker the sauce gets.
