Wash chicken and pat dry with paper toweling. Combine cooking oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, oregano leaves, pepper and salt. Place chicken in shallow dish. Pour marinade over chicken. Marinate refrigerated at least 6 hour or longer. Turn Chicken frequently. Place chicken skin side up on grill over hot charcoal. Broil about 6 inches from source of heat about 1 hour or until done. Turn chicken every 15 minutes and baste with marinade. May also be oven broiled.
