Methodist Bbq

Ingredients:
  • 2 to 3 lbs beef
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup broth from cooked beef
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp red hot sauce
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preparation:

Cook beef until it shreds easily with a fork. Set aside. In saucepan, combine vinegar, broth, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, salt, hot sauce, catsup and brown sugar. Simmer until thickened, about 30 minutes. Add beef and simmer an additional 15 minutes.
