Red Velvet Cake #3

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cup flour or 2 1/2 cup cake flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 oz. red food coloring
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation:

Mix oil and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Sift four, salt, soda and cocoa together, and add alternately with buttermilk. Add red food coloring and vanilla.

Pour into three greased cake pans, and bake 350° F for 20-30 minutes. Cool.
