Pressed Bean Curd Soup

Ingredients:
  • 1 lbs Pressed bean curd, slivered
  • 2 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • Cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp Dry sherry
  • 4 ea Green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Green peas
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup Sweet corn
  • 1 cup Stock or water

Preparation:

Heat 4 Tbsp cooking oil in a wok or pan and fry bean curd till golden. Remove and drain.

Fry green onion for 30 seconds, add the rest of the vegetables and fry for another 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients except stock and mix well.

Transfer to a soup pot. Add stock, gently stir and heat.

Serve hot.
