In mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar for 3 minutes on medium speed. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to egg mixture, mixing well.
Add anise. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto greased and floured cookie sheet. Press pecan half lightly into center of cookie.
Let stand overnight to dry. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. Bake at 325° F or 12 minutes.
