French Apple Cobbler

Ingredients:
  • 2 - 12 oz. packages STOUFFER'S® Harvest Apples, defrosted according to pkg. directions
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Place apples in 9-inch-square baking pan. Mix flour, sugar, egg, butter, baking powder and salt in medium bowl until blended.

Drop dough by heaping Tbsp over escalloped apples.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
