Baked Rice Pudding

Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup Rice; raw
  • 4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg; grated
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • Butter; softened

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 300° F, lightly butter cassarole. Combine rice, milk, salt, vanilla and nutmeg in casserole and mix well. Bake, uncovered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Then stir in raisins and bake another 2 hours, stirring occassionally.

Servings: 4
