Brownie Pudding

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/8 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp melted shortening
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 3/8 cup cocoa
  • 2 1/3 cup hot water

Preparation:

Sift dry ingredients together; add milk, vanilla, shortening; mix until smooth; add nuts. Pour into 9x13-inch pan.

Mix brown sugar and cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
